NOUN  CLAUSE
     A  noun  is  used  as  subject or  an  object.
     A  noun  clause   is  used  as  a  subject.  In  other  words  , a  noun   clause
     is  used  in the same  ways  as  a noun.
     A  noun  clause  is  a  clause  functioning  as  a  noun.

     It   has  its own subject and  verb.

( What  he  said  is  a  noun.  It  is  used  as the  object  of the verb heard)

EXERCISE :  A  “that  clause” is  frequently  used  with  the  fact.
                         Combine  the  sentences  using “ the  fact  that”  to   introduce
                          a  noun  clause.

Example :   Ann  was late.   That   didn’t  surprise  me.
                     The  fact  that  Ann  was  late   didn’t   surprise  me.

1.Mary  didn’t  come  . That  made me  angry.
2.I’am  little  tired.   I  feel  fine  except  for  that.
